Dr. David M. Radin is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic examiners and licensed by the state of California. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Virginia, he graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Radin is a board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, CCSP, accredited by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. This certification is required by the US Olympic Committee to become an approved chiropractor that treats Olympic athletes. He works with olympic and professional athletes to help them achieve their performance goals. Dr. Radin has also completed 75 continuing education hours towards a CCEP, Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner. This certification focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries that occur to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot.

Dr. Radin grew up in Virginia Beach, VA where he enjoyed spending much of his free time outdoors playing sports. While in high school he competed on the tennis team. Some of his favorite activities include tennis, golf, skiing, hiking, running, and weight lifting. It is his love of sports that first steered him towards a career as a chiropractor. He believes in a natural hands on approach to improving the structure, and consequently, the function of the body.

Dr. Radin is dedicated to providing the people of San Diego with fast, effective relief for all types of musculoskeletal conditions. Sports injuries, headaches, back and neck pain, muscle pain, automobile accident and work related injuries are a few examples of commonly treated ailments in his La Jolla office.  The doctor also works with athletes that may not be experiencing any pain at all. These patients work on “fine tuning” their bodies to perform and function at their optimum level. Many patients also benefit from custom foot orthotics, which not only improve foot function, but can help patients suffering from back, hip, knee, and ankle pain as well.

The doctor believes in a global approach to the body. He spends the time to assess each patient’s nutrition, fitness level, and other health factors when creating a customized treatment plan. Educating the people of San Diego and the community of La Jolla with up to date research and information about total body wellness is a top priority for Dr. Radin.

While not at work, Dr. Radin enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 year old son.
